Civil engineering A firm focus on Finnish infrastructure needs
RTA-Yhtiöt has been contributing to Finland’s security of supply for more than 50 years. Civil engineering, or infrastructure construction, is the most traditional of our sectors. With more than a half century of experience, we continue to build streets and municipal services, district heating and water supply lines, as well as external water and sewerage systems, drainage, waterproofing and stormwater systems.

Smaller civil engineering and foundation engineering projects as well
In addition to large specialist construction projects, we contribute to smaller civil engineering and foundation engineering projects. Our strength is our wide-ranging expertise and richness of ideas. We are able to serve in all civil engineering tasks with our own personnel and equipment, as well as with the help of our significant partner network.
Our customers include private industrial operators and state and municipal enterprises. We have carried out major projects for the energy, food and paper industries, the national grid operator Fingrid, water utilities, waste management companies, district heating companies, transport and logistics companies and others. Through these projects, we are helping to build vital and sustainable infrastructure in Finland and the basis for a high standard of living.
